Uganda Premier League side Lugazi FC has confirmed the signing of Umar Kyebatala in the mid-season transfer.
The forward put to pen a two-year employment contract. The transfer was confirmed via the club’s official website.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Umar Kyebatala from Mbale Heroes FC,” the statement partly reads.
Kyebatala is an exciting youthful talent who has been greatly destabilised by continuous injuries thus denying him a consistent time in action.
The forward switched from Maroons to Mbale Heroes in 2024. He spent one year and a half before heading the Leaders for the remaining part of the campaign.
Kyebatala has previously played for Kibuli Secondary School and St Mary’s Kitende before having a short stint at Vipers SC in 2019.
