- Tournament: U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Division 2 Africa Qualifier
- Teams: Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone
- Dates: 6th March – 14th March 2026
Uganda will host the U-19 World Cup Division 2 Africa Qualifiers from March 6th to 14th at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe.
The tournament will feature five teams, including Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Cameroon and Sierra Leone.
This is the first step on the journey to the U-19 World Cup in Nepal in 2027, and the top two sides will qualify for the Division 1 Qualifiers that will be hosted by Tanzania later in the year.
The games will be played on a round robin format with the top sides advancing to the next round of the qualifiers.
Kenya and Sierra Leone came out of the Division 2 Qualifiers last time in Rwanda and they will be the favourites to come out of the qualifiers but Malawi is a team on the up and they will push the envelope.
The teams will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful city of Entebbe and everything else it has to offer.
Uganda last hosted an ICC event in 2024 during the Challenge League B, and this is an opportunity to continue showing the capability Uganda has as a host nation.
