Legacy Corporate Games, a national platform aimed at promoting workplace wellness, corporate engagement, and structured sporting competition among organizations across Uganda, has been launched.
The launch took place at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Tuesday morning, with the hotel confirmed as the official hospitality partner for the games. The venue is set to host key events linked to the corporate sports initiative, including the end-of-year awards dinner.

“We are proud to support the Legacy Corporate Games and to host its events here in Kampala. The initiative aligns with our capabilities and values, and we are committed to contributing to its success by providing a professional environment for corporate engagement and competition,” said Jean-Philippe Bittencourt, the Managing Director of Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
“We were part of the corporate games movement in the early 2010s, and we are pleased to be part of this new chapter. It is encouraging to see the initiative return with renewed focus,” he added.
At the same event, TMR International Hospital was announced as the official medical partner. for the Games.
The partnership will see TMR deploy a dedicated medical team, ambulance services, and first aid support during all Legacy Corporate Games activities, ensuring participant safety and promoting workplace wellness across the participating corporate organisations.

As part of the collaboration, Dr Mitchel Daniels, Chief Executive Officer of TMR International Hospital, was named the official Patron of the Legacy Corporate Games, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to advancing health and wellness within Uganda’s corporate community.

The Legacy Corporate Games present an opportunity to encourage lifestyle change within the corporate environment by promoting physical activity, well-being, and a culture of health,” Steven Beyanga said on behalf of the CEO.
“We believe this initiative will inspire organizations to prioritize the health of their employees and encourage long-term behavioural change that supports productivity and overall wellbeing,” Beyanga added.

The Legacy Corporate Games Uganda platform brings together companies and institutions through structured sporting competition, corporate engagement, and wellness programmes aimed at strengthening employee wellbeing and team culture.
