Full draw for Football (Boys & Girls) | 7th USSSA Elite Championship

• Event: 7th USSSA Elite Championship
• Dates: 27th February to 1st March 2026
• Host: Janan S.S, Bombo

The 7th edition of the USSSA Elite Championship kicks off officially on the 27th February to 1st March 2026 at the Janan S.S in Bombo.

There will be action in football, netball, volleyball, basketball, handball and basketball.

The draws for all the games were held on Wednesday, 25th February 2026, at the GNS Plaza Hotel in Mengo.

During the draws, USSSA Executive officials Alfred Okanya, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi and Godlive Apolot were joined by the members of the secretariat, Emmanuel Kasakya (competitions director) and Bosco Omario (marketing, communications and ICT director).

“We are humbled to have the championship back, which is a precursor for the schools’ sports calendar in Uganda. The host school (Janan S.S) is ready,” Okanya remarked.

The football draw has two groups for the boys.

Buddo S.S, Mehta S.S, Kyadondo S.S, Fort Portal and hosts Janan S.S Bombo are in Group A.

Group B has St Mary’s Boarding School – Kitende, Bukedea Comprehensive School, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, Standard High School Zzana and Kawempe Muslim S.S.

Girls:

Group A for the girls has St. Noa Girls Zana, Nkoma Girls, Bukedea Comprehensive School and St Catherine Girls Kazo.

Kawempe Muslim S.S, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, Sheema Girls School, Standard High School Zzana and Panyadoli Self Help SS constitute Group B.

Playing Grounds

Janan SS has two pitches. The others are; Buyego grounds, Bombo Barracks, Nkondo community grounds and the Standard High Zzana Ndejje campus playground.

The tournament will climax on 1st March 2026 with the prize-giving ceremony.

For starters, the first edition of the Elite Championship was played in 2019.
