Kampala Queens put up a commanding display to sweep aside minnows Asubo Ladies as the two sides faced off on Saturday at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The Queens of Soccer were ruthless, securing an 8-0 victory, the biggest win in the club’s history.
After falling to pick maximum points against Rines last weekend, Kampala Queens needed a response to keep their title hopes alive. Indeed, they made a big response by obliterating hapless Asubo.

New signings Loyce Komugisha and Rinah Ariho scored a goal each to open their scoring accounts. Marion Amangat and Patience Nabuloobi too got their first goals in the Kampala Queens’ colours.
Zaitun Namaganda bagged a brace while Catherine Nagadya and an own goal completed the rout.
Victory takes Kampala Queens to 25 points in third place, seven behind She Corporate and Kawempe Muslim, who won their respective games.
Asubo Ladies, on the other hand, drop to the bottom of the table on just four points and have yet to register a win this season.
