St Lawrence University smiled past Lira University 3-0 in Group D of the Pepsi University League at Kavule, along Masaka road on Tuesday, 4th March 2026.

Sharafah Mukiibi scored a brace and Ivan James Okello added the other for the hosts who have now won two games out of two.

Okello gave St Lawrence University the lead on 33 minutes with a powerful strike.

Mukiibi got his first goal on the hour mark, tapping home off Yasins Owane’s cross.

Six minutes later, Mukiibi doubled his personal tally, the team’s third to seal the victory.

St Lawrence University now has 6 points, three better than MUBS and Gulu University.

Lira University is yet to register any victory in two matches.

On Thursday, 5th March 2026, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) will entertain Kampala University while  Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi shall face off with Mountains of the Moon University on Friday, 6th March 2026.
