Express and Maroons have played to a one-all draw in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Wednesday evening.
Despite the cold weather, the intensity was high and the end-to-end encounter gave the football fraternity a great meal of football.
Maroons started on the right foot as Norman Odipio was denied by the woodwork after a long-range effort from distance.
In the 19th minute, Kenneth Kimera tested Maroons goalkeeper Hassan Matovu from distance but the custodian was equal to the challenge.
Jackson Nunda broke the deadlock in the 75th minute to give Maroons the lead after a strong push.
Seven minutes later, Kimera levelled matters for Express with a great finish thanks to Marvin Nyanzi’s brilliant delivery.
A point leaves Express in the 10th position with 19 points while Maroons lie in ninth position with 19 points after 18 games.
