Thirteen-time champions KCCA host traditional rivals Express at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo desperate for victory to keep pace with leaders Vipers.
The Kasasiro are in good form at the moment with three successive wins that have re-ignited title ambitions.
They come into the game on the back of a 2-1 win over Police while Express frustrated another rivals SC Villa in a goalless draw at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.
Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera’s side will be favourites to seal a double over the Red Eagles but it won’t be a walk in the pack.
Express have quality in Marvin Nyanzi and Kenneth Kimera who the Kasasiro must keep an eye on and could have ex-KCCA midfield gem Gift Ali debut.
Express have only picked one victory in the last ten matches but are unbeaten in the past five [D5).
They have however won their last two visits to Lugogo and lost just once in five visits to KCCA [D2, L1, W2].
Elsewhere on Wednesday, UPDF host champions Vipers at Bombo while URA are at home against Lugazi at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.
