Vipers make a short trip to Military Barracks Grounds, Bombo aiming to pick their routine win over UPDF on Wednesday.
The champions are eager to keep their points gap undeterred and with 43 points, they have an opportunity to re-open a four-point gap at the top after Kitara beat Mbarara City on Tuesday to trim the gap to just one point.
UPDF are fighting for survival and at the moment sit second from bottom with only 13 points, but only two points below safe places.
However, they are winless against Vipers in the past 17 premier league meetings [L14, D3] which means the visitors are favourites in this tie.
The visitors will rely mainly on the trio of Karim Watambala, Chukwuma Odili and Usama Arafat for goals with Hilary Mukundane and co. keeping things tight at the back.
The hosts will rely on Farid Rashid and new signing Ivan Bogere for goals and will be buoyed by a 1-1 draw with Kitara in their last outing.
