- Miracle Eaglets 44-75 KCCA Leopards
KCCA Leopards secured a dominant 75-44 victory against Miracle Eaglets in the 2026 National Basketball League encounter at Abja Park, Nalya on Wednesday.
Tracy Namugosa led the Leopards’ scoring chart with a game-high of 23 points before Martha Soigi (19 points) and Ninette Uwineza (12 points) joined the column of double digits.
On the other hand, Winnifred Akello secured a double-double dropping 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
The game started on a slow noted as both sides went nearly two points without finding a basket.
However, at the end of the opening period, the Leopards opened a four-point lead (16-12) as the Miracles kept the chase of the game close.
In the second stanza, the Leopards opened an 11-point run to extend their lead to 15 points before Akello responded. Despite the Eaglets’ late charge, the Leopards took a 15-point lead into the long break.
Coming from the halftime break, the Leopards kept the foot on the gas pedal as they extended the lead to 19 points going into the final period.
In the final period of the game, the Eaglets were limited to only eight points as they trailed by 31 points at the end of the encounter.
