She Corporate’s never give up attitude was on display on Sunday as the Sharks had to come from two goals down to defeat Rines 3-2 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
With the title race tight, there is virtually no room for error, and She Corporate knew this, especially having lost to the leaders, Kawempe, two weeks ago.
Indeed, they put up a remarkable performance to stage a comeback and secure maximum points on the road.
Rines took an early lead through Sophia Nakiyingi, who tucked home in the fourth minute before Patricia Nakato Nanyazi doubled the advantage at the quarter-hour mark.
However, the visitors began fighting back with Jesca Namanda levelling matters towards the end of the first half.
Her first goal arrived in the 43rd minute and added another at the stroke of halftime.
It was defender Rebecca Nakato who won the game for She Corporate, scoring in the 72nd minute.
The result means She Corporate remains second on the table with 41 points, one behind Kawempe Muslim, who edged Lady Doves 1-0 at home.
