Matchday 22 of the FUFA Big League comes this Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026, with eight games on the card at various venues across the country.
This is a critical time for all the clubs in this second division league, with nine matches left per club to climax the season.
The battle at the apex of the league is as tense as the struggle against being relegated to the respective regional leagues.
Joint table leaders, Blacks Power and Kigezi Home Boyz (on 39 points apiece), both have tricky fixtures.
Blacks Power visits Ntugasaze at the Kavumba Recreational Stadium. Ntugasaze is currently fourth on the log with 34 points and eye victory to cement their place among the top contenders.

Red hot Andrea Ogwal, Baker Buyala and Innocent Maduka, among others, are the players that Blacks Power will dwell upon for the much-needed inspiration.
On the shoulders of Blacks Power is Kigezi Home Boyz, an entity coached by Sadiq Sempigi.
Christened as the “Gorillas”, Kigezi Home Boyz is at home against 8th placed Nebbi Central (currently on 28 points) at the Kigezi Al Madina stadium in Kabale district.
“We are eyeing a solid finish with consistent positive results. We cannot underestimate Nebbi Central, but we need to up our game,” Sempigi, whose team beat Soltilo Bright Stars 1-0 on matchday 21, remarks.

Sempigi works with a formidable technical docket that has Denis Tushabe (technical director), Brian Muhezi (Bush) as assistant coach and Sunday Barnabas (goalkeeping coach).
January signings Dominic Abonga, Henry Kitegenyi and Edwine Opaala Mukisa remain key pillars for Kigezi Home Boyz at the season final bend.

Away in Mbale City, Kataka (34 points), who dropped to fifth after the 0-1 loss away to Blacks Power, shall host relegation-threatened CATDA (23 points).
Elsewhere, bottom-lagging Mbale Heroes is visiting Soltilo Bright Stars at the lake-side Mroons stadium, in Luzira.
Other contests:
Kaaro Karungi will entertain Paidha Black Angels in Ntungamo at the Kyamatte playground, Kiyinda Boys tussle Onduparaka at Betherem Stadium, and Bunyaruguru United will face off against Young Elephants at the Nyamambuka Playground.

In the heart of the Ugandan capital, Kampala, Wakiso Giants will be playing Iganga United at the Hamz Stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds), days after the stadium marked 100 years since its inception in 1926.
