City Oilers extended their perfect to eight straight victories in the ongoing 2026 National Basketball League.

City Oilers secure a well deserved 85-60 vivtory against Victoria Crocs in the NBL encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Friday.

City Oilers started on a slow note with fefensive lapses thus trailing by 10 points (17-27) at the end of the first period.

The Oilers stepped up their offensive gear in the second stanza. Picked their plays smarts as they reduced the deficit to one point (39-40) going into the long break.

Coming from the locker rooms, Fayed Baale dropped back to back long shots beyond paint to charge the Oilers. At the end of the third quarter, they held onto a two-point (56-54) lead.

In the final frame of the game, the Crocs were limited to only six points as the Oilers smartly walked away with a commanding 25-point victory.

Fayed Baale (16 points), Joel Lukoji (12 points) and Malual Dier (11 points) led the scoring chart for the City Oilers in double digits.

On the other hand, Mark Ngobi (15 points), Choul Nyout (15 points) and Aaron John Eboyu (14 points) scored in double digits for the Victoria Crocs.
