The final round of the professionals’ category at the 2026 Pearl of Africa (POA) Golf series takes place this Saturday, 4th April 2026, in Entebbe.

Grace Kasango maintained his lead from the first round played on Holy Thursday, where he opened up with 4-under-68.

On Good Friday during round two, the towering Kasango scored 3-under-69.

“I am happy with my first two rounds. I yearn to finish strongly,” Kasango remarked.

MTN-sponsored Ronald Rugumayo is chasing three strokes from the leader coming to the final 18 holes.

Rugumayo scored 1-under-70 on day one and bettered with 2-under-69 on the subsequent day.

Twenty professionals made the cut and will partake in the Shs 27,000,000 prize money kitty.

The main pressure group on Holy Saturday has Kasango, Rugumayo, Vincent Byamukama and Phillip Kasozi, driving off at 12:40 PM.

The second pressure group has Herman Deco Mutebi, David Kamulindwa, Davis Kato and Rodell Gaita, teeing off at 12:30 PM.

Draw three for the professional golfers

On the same day, the subsidiary cluster golfers will also swing into action with a big field anticipated.

There will be front and back tee-offs to accommodate the high numbers.

There will be a colourful awards ceremony after the round on Holy Saturday.
