Calvary has something to smile about this season after securing their maiden victory in the Uganda Premier League.
The Yumbe based team who earned promotion to top flight football last year have found life hard in their debut campaign of top flight football.
Since the start of the season, the club has languished in the relegation zone with no win registered.
However, on Saturday, Calvary secured their first win, defeating Buhimba United Saints 2-0 at Midigo Primary School Playground.
Lawrence Olaboro scored the two goals, both coming in the first half. The first goal arrived seven minutes after kickoff with the striker converting a penalty after Simon Peter Odeke was fouled.
Three minute before halftime, Olaboro doubled the lead for the hosts.
Despite efforts in the second half by Buhimba, Calvary held on to take all three points.
Calvary remain bottom of the table on eight points while Buhimba United are second from bottom on 15 points.
