Stanbic Uganda 2025/26 (Semifinals)
1st Legs (To be played between 1st and 3rd May 2026)
- Kitara Vs Vipers – Royal Park Butema, Hoima
- URA Vs Sports Club Villa – Hamz Stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds)
2nd Legs (To be played between 15th and 17th May 2026)
- Vipers Vs Kitara – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende
- Sports Club Villa Vs URA – FUFA Kadiba Stadium
The draw for the Stanbic Uganda Cup semifinal was held at UMOJA House, Nakasero on Thursday, 16th April 2026.
Kitara will face holders Vipers as Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) shall battle Sports Club Villa.
Kitara, winners of this competition in 2024, shall host the first leg at the Royal Park Butema in Hoima while Vipers host the second leg at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
URA hosts SC Villa in the first leg at Hamz Stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds), and the Jogoos shall host the return leg at the FUFA Kadiba Stadium.
The draw was supervised by the new FUFA Competitions Director, Shawn Mubiru.
Different club representatives attended this draw, including David Owori, the current captain of SC Villa, his head coach Zeljko Kovacevic and the club CEO, Eng. William Nkemba at the semifinal draws.
Joshua Lubwama Letti (URA player), Allan Tarsis Munaaba (CEO) and Bust Ssemuyaba (assistant coach at URA) also attended.
Vipers’ head coach Ivan Jacky Minnaert represented the Venoms.
About the Semifinalists
Among the four semifinalists, SC Villa has the most titles: 9 won in 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2009 and 2015.
The current Cup holders, Vipers Sports Club, have four titles won in 2016, 2020, 2023 and recently 2025.
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club has won it thrice in 2005, 2012 and 2014.
Kitara’s only Uganda Cup title was won in 2024 after that hard-fought 1-0 win over NEC at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
