At the SPN Turf in Namulanda, like elsewhere, several competitive events that lure passionate crowds with juicy prizes have been organized. The latest tournament is the Good Friends Super League that is now entering the third edition.

  • Bbomu Vs Kikompola – 6 PM
  • Muliro Vs Masanyalaze – 7 PM

Small sided games (with 5, 6 or 7 players apiece) have become the norm in many urban environs of Uganda, of late.

With the mush-rooming small-sized astro turfs in the country, many upcoming players, active, retired and tired (the aged) are featuring prominently.

These arenas are now meeting points for leisure football; fitness monitoring and generally fun-packed confines for many a soccer enthusiast.

The Good Friends Super Four 2026

The teams in the box are Bbomu, Kikompola, Muliro and the red hot Masanyalaze. The latter has won the previous two editions.

Team Muliro (fire) has released the seasonal squad ahead of match day one encounter against Masanyalaze at 8 PM, under floodlights on Friday, 17th April 2026.

Simon Batte, Shafic Donnarumma, Annington Reijnders, Ivan Nangoli Nunes,  Siraje Likambo Gueihi, Ivan Ramos, Joel Versatile Cherki, Frank Ruben Dias, Emma Sitesi Gonzalez, Malik Silva, Baker Haverts, Chris Brobbery and the team captain, Dixon Gvardiol are the players on team Muliro.

Dimitry Berbatov is the team manager as Magical Mosy Semenyo is also part of the technical team.

Match day one ball

The opening match kicks off at 6 PM between Bbomu and Kikompola.

For every match day, there will be a special player of the match prize as well as the match day ball.

The Good Friends Super Four League has a number of sponsors and partners such as Aidenal Foundation, De Beach Entebbe, Bosco K Hardware, La Marquee Translate, Beautiful Beginnings School, King’s Plumbing, and Stonewall Junior School, among others.
