Jubilee 2000 girls football team players celebrate their success

Overview:

 Jubilee 2000 Secondary School (Abim District) and Kangole Girls Secondary School (Napak District) will be the girls’ representatives at the nationals that will take place in Mukono at Seroma Christian High School.

USSSA 2026 Karamoja Zone Football Championship:

Boys:

  • Champions: Lotuke Seed Secondary School (Abim District)
  • Runners up: Nadunget Seed Secondary School (Moroto)

Girls:

  • Champions: Jubilee 2000 Secondary School (Abim District)
  • Runners up: Kangole Girls Secondary School (Napak District)

The Karamoja Zone USSSA 2026 football championship successfully climaxed in Moroto district on Saturday, 18th April.

Abim District’s Lotuke Seed Secondary School and Jubilee 2000 Secondary School won both the boys and girls’ clusters respectively.

Lotuke Seed SS overcame Moroto’s Nadunget Seed Secondary School in post match penalties during the thrilling final played at the Boma playground – Moroto.

Samson Bisseka Ochen and Heskey Okot were among the star players for Lotuke Seed S.S.

The girls’ football final witnessed Abim’s Jubilee 2000 Secondary School edge Napak’s Kangole Girls Secondary School 2-1 at the Naoi Mission ground.

The week-long action witnessed over 40 schools from the different districts in Karamoja region engage in the football matches hosted by Moroto High School.

That said; Lotuke Seed Secondary School (Abim District) and Nadunget Seed Secondary School (Moroto) will represent the Karamoja zone at the 2026 USSSA national football championship due to take place in Lira city come the month of May.

 Jubilee 2000 Secondary School (Abim District) and Kangole Girls Secondary School (Napak District) will be the girls’ representatives at the nationals that will take place in Mukono at Seroma Christian High School.

Throughout the months of March and April, different schools across the country have been engaged in district and zonal USSSA championships.
