- Event: 2026 ITTF East African Regional Table Tennis Championships

- Venue: Port Sudan, Sudan
After the successful trials of players for the 2026 ITTF East Africa Regional Championships, six players (3 per gender) were selected for team Uganda.
The trials were held at the National Training Center at Kololo Senior Secondary School on four different occasions (11th, 12th, 18th and 19th April 2026).
Basing on the final standings, the best players were confirmed for national duty ahead of the ITTF East African regional championship and the African senior championship coming up in Morocco (11th to 18th October 2026).
Joseph Sebatindira, Joshua Magaya and Enock Balyewunya are the male players on the national team.
The successful females are Jemimah Nakawala, Parvin Judith Nangonzi and Patience Anyango.
Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) warmly congragulates the athletes who earned their places on the national team. This is a commendable achievement, and we urge them to represent Uganda with pride, discipline, commitment and sportsmanship.

In total, there were twenty seven players (15 male and 12 females) who took part in the trials.
