Egyptian giants Al Ahly Volleyball Club continued with their continental dominance clinching the 17th CAVB Men’s Club Championship.
Al Ahly secured a well-deserved 3-0 victory against Police Volleyball Club in the Africa Club Championship encounter at BK Arena, Kigali on Saturday.
Al Ahly came out of their blocks early, opening a six-point (11-5) lead. The Egyptians’ block was Police’s biggest undoing as the former took the set 25-20.
Police had a better start as they went point for point (18-17). However, the Rwandan side struggled in the final bend of the frame, giving away the second set (25-21).
