• Rayon Sport 1-1 APR

Rayon Sport held APR in a one-all draw in the BK Pro League encounter played at Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Saturday evening.

Asman Ndikumana gave the hosts the lead in the 32nd minute before Djibril Ouattara levelled matters 10 minutes later.

The game started on a high temple with Hakim Kiwanuka asking the questions on the right flank but the final delivery was poor.

Rayon Sport were the better side on the ball, putting together a number of touches but were equally blunt in the final third.

In the 32nd minute, Ndikumana gave the hosts the lead after capitalising on the backline’s mistake. The forward was quick enough to guide the ball in the back of the net with a brilliant touch.

Rayon Sport had a cut clear chance to double the lead but the forwards lacked the chemistry to bring each into the game thus wasting the opportunity.

Ruboneka was fouled in the area and the center referee was quick to point at the spot in the 40th minute.

Outtara stepped up and calmly converted from the 12-yard mark sending the goalkeeper to the wrong side.

Denis Omedi had a glorious chance to nod the visitors ahead in the 58th minute after being set up by Outtara but the forward’s final touch was poor.

After a one-all draw, APR remain second on the table with 56 points while Rayon Sport lies fourth on the log with 48 points in 29 games.
