Uganda Premier League side SC Villa will return to a familiar hunting ground this weekend, shifting their home fixture against BUL FC to the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

While the Jogoos have called the FUFA Stadium in Kadiba home for much of this season, a scheduling conflict has forced a temporary relocation.

According to SportsNation, Kadiba is unavailable due to an international fixture featuring the Queen Cranes, who are set to take the pitch on Saturday.

“We are back at Wankulukuku,” the club confirmed via its social media channels, signalling a return to the stadium that has hosted many of their historic campaigns.

The shift in venue also brings a change in the kick-off; unlike the recent 8:00 PM under the lights fixtures at Kadiba, this match is scheduled for a traditional 4:00 PM start.

This move puts Villa’s formidable home record under the microscope. The Jogoos remain unbeaten at Kadiba this season, and fans are eager to see if that momentum carries over to the natural grass of Wankulukuku.

The clash holds significant weight for the league table. SC Villa currently sits in fourth place with 51 points, looking to close the gap on the leaders.

Meanwhile, BUL FC occupies eighth place with 34 points after 26 games, desperate to find the consistency that has been elusive for the biggest part of the campaign.

The encounter promises to be a tactical battle as Villa seeks to maintain their title charge away from their newfound fortress.
