Following a frustrating last two matches that literally ended their title ambitions, KCCA host Maroons desperate to get back to winning ways.

The fixture comes after the Kasasiro dropped points in the 1-1 draw with Vipers conceding a last gasp equaliser, a few days after losing to Calvary away in Midigo.

With 52 points, KCCA are third on the log, seven points behind leaders Vipers who are not in action until Friday when they host URA.

The Lugogo based side must win to remain in the title race albeit with a faint hope.

They must do it without on form midfielder Said Mayanja who has accumulated three bookings and is suspended for the clash as he joins Derrick Nsibambi and Bright Anukani who are sidelined with injuries.

James Mubeezi returns to the side after missing the last two months through injury.

In the reverse fixture, Maroons held the 13-time champions to a goalless draw in Luzira.

Meanwhile, 9th placed Maroons on 34 points want to win and move into the top eight sides.

They are on a good run at the moment with one loss in nine outings; the 1-0 loss to NEC at Lugogo.
