USSSA Boys Football 2026 (Match Day 1) – Mid-morning results:

  • Buddo S.S 2-0 Teso College Aloet
  • Kalisizo Seed 1-1 Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA)
  • Bukedea Comprehensive South 4-1 PP Newton
  • Agape SS 6-1 Makobore High School

The defending champions of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) boys football; Buddo S.S earned a 2-0 victory over Teso College Aloet in group A duel played at the Lira Town College playground on Monday, 11th May 2026.

Aaron Okello and Hilary Tumwine scored in either half of the well-attended game.

Okello scored the opener in the 13th minute and Tumwine added the second in the 76th minute as Buddo took home the maximum points on the day.

“I am happy for the maximum points we have managed to get. I still believe the players would have scored more goals if they were prolific Infront of the goal. This is what we have to work out in the remaining games” Ssemakula Magulu, Buddo SS head coach remarked after the game.

In the other games played during the 11 AM fixtures; Kalisizo Seed and Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) shared the spoils 1-all at the Dr Obote College playground 2.

JIPRA took the lead through Joram Mukisa’s 26th minute goal before Abdul Murungi grabbed the equalizer three minutes into second stanza.

Bukedea Comprehensive South started brilliantly, triumphing 4-1 past PP Newton.

Agape SS was dominant in their 6-1 victory over Makobore High School.

More matches will be played later on Monday afternoon (2 PM and 4 PM) to cap match day one.

Tuesday morning shall witness the match day two action for some matches before the official opening game of the tournament.

The four semi-finalists will represent Uganda at the 2026 FEASSSA Games due in Morogoro city, Tanzania.
