Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC kept their target of claiming a domestic double alive after overcoming Uganda Martyrs Lubaga at the round of 16 of the 2026 FUFA Women’s Cup.
In the game played on Sunday at Kawempe Muslim playground, the Valley Warriors claimed a 1-0 win to progress to the quarterfinals.
Latifah Nakasi scored the lone goal of the game to haunt his former team where she featured before joining Kawempe Muslim this season.
In the other games played, Wakiso Hill stunned She Corporate, eliminating them 4-3on penalties after normal time ended in a two-all draw.
Elsewhere, Cup holders Amus College needed to dig deep to dump out URA Ladies. Normal time ended in a two-all draw but the former were able to win the shootout 4-1.
St.Noa Girls made light work of Dream Girls, winning 4-0, She Maroons edged Makerere University 2-1 while Lady Doves defeated Sheema Girls 2-1.
