Overview:
With match day three coming on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, more schools will confirm their places and the final slots will be known by the subsequent round when the group stages officially climax.
There are a dozen schools that have already confirmed progress to the round of 32 stage at the on-going 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Boys football competition in Lira city, Northern Uganda.
With the bare-minimum of six points, 12 of the schools have known their feat after the second match day completed on the evening of Tuesday, 12th May 2026.
Defending champions Buddo Secondary Schools, Kyadondo S.S, Amus College, Mukono Kings, Ssingo S.S, NUMASA, Bukedea Comprehensive School South, Mvara S.S, Green Light Islamic School, St Joseph Buyaga, Masaka S.S and Aiden College Wakiso are all through so far.
These aforementioned schools have all recorded maximum points from their first two matches and thus qualified to the first phase of the knock-out round.
“We are glad to have qualified already to the round of 32 stage. We need to work hard and top the group” Hakim Ssenkumba, head coach at Kyadondo S.S remarked after their 2-0 win over Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) on Tuesday.

Now the battle remains on who will top the respective groups prior to the round of 32 matches.
As the successful schools will play the round of 32 contests, the eliminated ones will play in the classification duels to determine positions 33 to 64.
Buddo S.S is the reigning champion.
