Teso College Aloet bounced back from their disappointing start to the 2026 USSSA U20 Boys Football Championship after registering a 1-0 win over Kaserem SS on Tuesday.
It should be noted that Teso College were humbled by defending Champions Buddo SS on Monday in their first game, losing 2-0.
Therefore, on Tuesday, Teso College needed a positive result to give themselves a chance of progressing to the knockout stage.
In a closely contested game, Teso College secured a 1-0 win to egdge the school from Kapchorwa district.
The result means Teso College now occupy second place in Group A on three points same as Masindi Secondary School who lost Buddo SS.
Buddo SS have sealed their spot to the round of 32 with a game to spare but the battle for the second place will be between Masindi SS and Teso College who face off on Wednesday while Kaserem SS is officially out.
