Overview:
Tsevi Soni, Yuvraj Rajput, Maryam Mwakitawa and Cherono Kipkorir, earned qualification to the prestigious Faldo Junior Tour European Grand Final, scheduled for 17th–19th November 2026 at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates.
Tsevi Soni of Sigona Golf Club was crowned the overall champion of the 5th NCBA Faldo Junior Tour Kenya Championship after an impressive three-day performance at Vet Lab Sports Club.
Soni, who held the lead from the opening round, posted scores of 72, 73, and 76 for a tournament total of 221 (+5) to secure the overall title in one of Kenya’s premier junior golf championships.



The championship attracted 84 junior golfers from six nations — Kenya, Zambia, India, China, Portugal, and the United States — further highlighting the tournament’s growing international profile and its importance as a pathway to elite global competition.
While Soni claimed the overall honours, the Boys Under-21 category title was won by Kevin Anyien of Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club.
Anyien produced a strong final round of 73 to finish on a total of 227 (+11), edging out Sigona’s Hetansh Shah, who finished runner-up on 229 (+13).
In the Boys Under-16 category, Yuvraj Rajput of Sigona Golf Club delivered another impressive performance, closing with a round of 73 to claim victory on 225 (+9).
Amar Shah of Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club finished second on 230 (+14).

Maryam Mwakitawa of Sigona Golf Club secured the Girls Under-21 title after finishing with a total score of 244 (+28), while Hazel Kuria of Muthaiga Golf Club claimed runner-up honours on 250 (+34).
The Girls Under-16 division was won by Cherono Kipkorir of Royal Nairobi Golf Club, whose rounds of 79, 74, and 78 earned her victory on 231 (+15).
Belinda Wanjiru of Vet Lab Sports Club finished second on 236 (+20), beating Audrey Gachora on countback.

Now in its fifth edition, the NCBA Faldo Junior Tour Kenya Championship continues to strengthen its position as one of the region’s leading junior golf events.
The tournament forms part of the globally renowned Faldo Junior Tour founded by six-time Major Champion Sir Nick Faldo and is recognized as a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event.
It also contributes valuable points towards the Junior Golf Foundation Order of Merit.
