2026 USSSA Boys’ football:
Round of 16 (Morning Results):
- Mbale Progressive S.S 0 (2) – 0 (4) London College Nansana
- Buddo S.S 2-1 Kawempe Muslim S.S
London College Nansana and Buddo SS became the first two schools to book their berths at the 2026 USSSA Boys’ football quarter-finals on Saturday morning in Lira city.
At Lira Town College playground, London College Nansana endured a goal-less stalemate after normal time to win the shoot-out 4-2 past Mbale Progressive Secondary School.
In the other round of 16 duel at the Dr Obote College playground 1, holders Buddo S.S overcame Kawempe Muslim S.S 2-1.
Buddo S.S scored through Ambrose Aboy’s brace whilst Ukasha Kimbowa’s would be equalizer via a fierce free-kick was turned into a consolation.
The other round of 16 matches will be played throughout Saturday as the schools target quarter finals due on Sunday, 17th May 2026.
The boys’ football competition is a premium event organized by USSSA. Other sports include Rugby, Netball, Handball, Basketball, Swimming, Hockey, Dancesport, Woodball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Tennis.
