- Fufa stadium, Kadiba 7pm [Agg: 2-0]
Eleven days on from the opening encounter at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo, SC Villa and URA reunite at the Fufa stadium, Kadiba on Saturday in the second leg of their colossal Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-final.
The Jogoos came out on top at Nakivubo winning the tie 2-0 and hold a slight advantage coming into this clash.
Najib Yiga scored in the first half and Moses Aliro put the ball in his own net late in the second half leaving Zeljko Kovacevic side in prime position in the tie.
URA assistant coach Bastu Ssemuyaba still believes the tax collectors have the ability to avenge that defeat and make a comeback.
“We have had good preparations and everyone understands the task at hand,” he told the club media. “Two-nil down, against a very good side already makes it difficult but we believe we can go there and turn it around,” he added.
URA have had a tough campaign in which they have won just four league matches whole season and are winless in eight straight matches, their only win in nine coming on penalties against KCCA in early April.
With the return of Moses Waiswa, Hussein Mbalangu gets a midfield boost but is likely to be without Bright Vvuni.
For Villa, finishing off the job will be the ultimately goal as they aim to reach the final for the first time since 2015.
They will be buoyed by their recent record against URA [W4, D2] and the fact that they are unbeaten at Kadiba the entire season where they also beat URA 3-0 in the league through goals from Misi Ssemugera, Najib Yiga and Frank Mulimi.
