Kyadondo SS sealed a spot on into the quarterfinals of the ongoing USSSA U20 Boys Football Championship after overcoming Nkoma SS at the round of 16.
The closely contested encounter played on Saturday at Lira Town College playground witnessed Kyadondo SS win 2-1 to progress.
Ariene Odinga and Rafael Masudi scored a goal in either half to guide Kyadondo SS to victory while Nkoma got their consolation goal through Godfrey Kizza.
Odinga fired Kyadondo into the lead in the 22nd minute but this lasted only three minutes with Nkoma SS levelling matters through Kizza.
In the second half, winger Masudi converted from the spot the goal that eventually sent Kyadondo SS through to the quarterfinals.
Kyadondo SS will now face reigning Champions Buddo SS at the quarterfinal stage on Sunday.
