Amus College School joined Kyadondo S.S. in the semifinals of the ongoing USSSA Boys’ Football Championship in Lira city, Northern Uganda.
Hardworking forward Mudasir Ijosiga struck home the only goal in the mid-morning duel played at the Lira Town College playground on Sunday, 17th May 2026.
Ijosiga was well positioned to tap home from close range past goalkeeper Brian Ssentabadde off an inviting laid ball from the left flank by Ivan Okello.

As Amus College pushed for a killer, London College sought the equaliser, but all the options did not yield any fruit.
The Bukedea District-based school has now joined Kyadondo S.S, who booked their berth in the last four stage at the expense of the 2025 champions Buddo S.S.
Kyadondo S.S beat Buddo S.S 1-0 courtesy of midfielder Bashir Edema’s penalty two minutes past the half-hour mark.
Kyadondo’s talismanic winger, Rafael Masuudi, posed all sorts of provocations to the Buddo defence that had Tom Ssasazi, skipper Dickson Barasa and Ronald Mukisa Ssegirinya.
“This is a great achievement for the school. We have planned well since the holidays, and the FEASSA qualification is a big reward. I salute the players, coaching staff and the school management,” Hakim Ssenkumba remarked after the game.
