- JT Lady Jaguars 93-62 JKL Lady Dolphins

JT Lady Jaguars secured a 93-62 well-deserved victory against JKL Lady Dolphins in the National Basketball League encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Friday.
The Lady Jaguars opened a four-point (19-15) lead at the end of the opening period as Sarah Ageno’s jump shot concluded the game.
Aziida Nabayunga dropped two shots beyond the paint to open a 16-point lead, which was later stretched to 21 points before the break.





Coming from the halftime break, the Dolphins improved their ball movement but were not lethal in the paint, thus trailing by 33 points going into the final frame.
Despite the dominant lead, the Lady Jaguars kept the foot on the gas pedal as they secured a 31 victory on the day.
Priscillar Nambogo (21 points), Maimuna Nabbosa (16 points) and Nabayunga (14 points) led the Lady Jaguars’ scoring chart.


On the other hand, Mellisa Taliba (17 points), Shiphrah Kiranda (15 points), and Tamasha Nansubuga (13 points) led the Lady Dolphins’ scoring chart.
The Lady Dolphins had a poor shooting day, sinking only two of the 24 attempts beyond the arc, while the Lady Jaguars dropped 12 of the 40 long baskets.
