Overview:
Elvis Ngonde remains cagey about the next offers on the table as the contract at SC Villa nears completion in three month’s time.
After a deep thorough sincere self-assessment, Sports Club Villa player Elvis Ngonde acknowledges the bold fact that the best is yet to come from him.
Ngonde has had lowly moments in an on and off 2025-26 season with the Jogoos having previously played a crucial role in their title winning season under head coach Dusan Stojanovic in the 2023-2024 epoch.
As the off-season forth comes at the apex of May 2026, it will not be recess and mere holiday for Ngonde; but rather a period to soul search, polish fitness and work hard on the other elements of the game.
“Sincerely, I will not rest in this off season. It has not been a smooth ride in the 2025-26 season” Ngonde vows.

This term, Ngonde has only commanded two starts and made 21 substitute appearances for the Jogoos, falling off in the pecking order.
Often, he has also been played at left back role contrary to his preferred central midfield docket where he mastered.
He remains cagey about the next offers on the table as the contract at SC Villa nears completion in three month’s time.
“I have a few months left on my contract at Sports Club Villa. You cannot rule out an extension or a move to another club if offers are presented. That is the nature of sport as footballers” he opens up on the future.
The former Gaddafi and Busoga United left footed midfielder won the USSSA national schools’ championship with St Mary’s Kitende back in the years.
He joined Sports Club Villa in 2023 and has since engaged in 15 goals (assists) and netted 5 times.
Ngonde was a member of the Uganda Cranes team at the 2024 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda under the PAMOJA brand.
Sports Club Villa’s final game of the season comes this Saturday (30th May 2026) against Kitara in the final of the 52nd Stanbic Uganda Cup at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, a new venue confirmed by the federation from the earlier set FUFA Stadium, Kadiba in Mengo – Kampala.
