Senegal claimed their second TotalEnergies Africa Nations Cup under-17 title after beating East Africans Tanzania 4-2 on penalties in Rabat following a 1-1 draw in the final.
The closely contested tie at the Prince Moulay Hassan on Tuesday saw the Serengeti Boys take a seventh minute lead through Hamis Chenga.
Ibrahima Dione equalised for Senegal in the 64th minute, turning in from close range after Tanzania goalkeeper Haji Abdullahi failed to hold a free-kick from Souleymane Commissaire Faye.
Neither side found the winner in normal time, the final was decided by penalties, where Senegal showed greater composure to claim another continental title at this level.
