JT Lady Jaguars concluded the regular season on top of the National Basketball League table.
JT Lady Jaguars secured a dominant 111-32 victory against Nabisunsa Girls in the NBL encounter at the YMCA Court, Wandegeya on Sunday.
The Lady Jaguars came out of their blocks opening an 18-point (25-07) lead at the end of the opening period.
Nabisunsa struggled with the JT Jaguars’ athleticism and rhythm as they trailed by 36 points going into the long halftime break.
Coming from the long break, the Lady Jaguars extended the lead to 63 points at the end of the third quarter before they sealed a dominant victory.
It was a scoring party as seven players dropped double digits; Azida Nabayunga (20 points), Brenda Kayaga (16 points), Maimuna Nabbosa (14 points), Sandra Ayikoru (13 points) Mercy Batamuliza (12 points), Shakirah Nanvubya (12 points) and Priscillar Nambogo (12 points).
The Lady Jaguars conclude the first round with 20 victories and two losses in 22 league games played.
