Heathens RFC have entered a 3-year hydration partnership with Zora Water starting this June.
The Kyadondo side has added Zora Water to its long list of partners in a deal that is worth over 25 Million Uganda Shillings in product. The launch was graced by the Heathens RFC chairman, Desire Derekford Mugumisa and the Zora Water Managing Director Anna Namuli.
Mugumisa noted that this partnership has saved them money they’d have spent out of pocket on hydration.
“We’ve entered a partnership where it is very important for all of us to go to the counter and ask for Zora Water. When you do that, we get cash in our pockets, so I urge everyone to defend that [Zora] bottle. When you do that, you support a player; you support the Kyadondo Rugby community,” he remarked.

The team from Zora Water, headed by Namuli, was eager for the journey ahead, where they’ll be fueling the record Ugandan champions.
“We are happy to partner with the most successful club in Uganda. We know that that takes resilience, courage and hard work. We want to fuel our champions to the peak through hydration. We also extend our partnership to the bar: every time you buy a Zora at Kyadondo, you are giving back to heathens.” Namuli noted at the launch.
The Heathens players were represented by their captain, Norbert Okeny, who welcomed Zora Water to the Yellow Machine.
“We are happy knowing that Zora has come to partner with us; we hope to see them also become the biggest hydration company in Uganda. To our team manager, we won’t be coming to you all the time for water; we now have enough,” remarked the Heathens captain.
This partnership has come at a time when Heathens is preparing to play against the Black Pirates in the semifinal of the National 15s league.
