Busiro Ssaza takes on Gomba this Sunday, 21st June 2026 at the Trinity College playground in Nabbingo.

The 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup continues with match day one games this upcoming weekend at the different venues across the Kingdom.

This followed the official opener between Buweekula and Kyaddondo that ended goalless at the NTC playground in Mubende district last Saturday.

Busiro Ssaza takes on Gomba this Sunday, 21st June 2026 at the Trinity College playground in Nabbingo.

As the days near for this game, the Busiro Ssaza camp has garnered steam after the latest build-up they won 2-0 over Gombolola select on a day the 31-man squad was officially unveiled to the public.

The team is coached by Moses “Dunga” Ddungu, deputized by former Uganda Cranes international Yusuf Kinene.

A number of sponsors and partners have come out openly to support the cause of the team financially and in kind.

From individuals, organizations to companies, the support has come in at the desired timing.

Maya Paramedical leads the cast of organizations that has come in full force.

Ice Love water provided 750 cartons of water and thus becomes the official hydration partner.

Key political figures as Hon. Kenan Opio (Busiro South) with Ug.Shs 5,500,000; Hon Moses Mayanjja (Busiro North) contributed Ug.Shs 5,000,000; Hon. Steven Shyaka Gashasija (Entebbe Municipality) offered Ug.Shs 2,000,000; Hon. Abdul Kiyimba (Ug.Shs 1,500,000), Joseph Bitokote Ssemugera (Ug.Shs 1,000,000); among others have supported financially.

Godfrey Ssenoga Saha, the proprietor of King’s Bar Nabbingo Bataka provided an assortment of food items from rice, posho to beans in over 100Kgs.

Trinity College Nabbingo, Sina Timber are equally other partners of relevance.

Others have been individuals who keep a low profile whilst offering financial and in-kind donations.

The management board has Oweek. Joseph Ddamulira, the Director at St Augustine’s College Wakiso as patron.

Dr Vincent Ssajjabi is chairperson. He is deputized by Richard Kijjambi (administration) and Emmanuel Kiweewa (Technical).

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is Andrew Mukisa Walakira whilst Thomas Moore Mujuuzi is team manager.

Moses Bisaaso is treasurer, Mulangira David Jjuuko in charge of safety and security, Sinani Waiswa (Public Relations Officer), Abraham Mutumba (team doctor) and Lawrence Muliika as fans’ coordinator.
