Human resource development around Uganda’s sports eco-system is bound to take a new dimension given the latest partnership of Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) and Africa’s premier HR solutions partner, NFT Consult.
This was officially announced at a media inter-face at the UOC boardroom on Thursday, 18th June 2026.

UOC president Dr Donald Rukare was flanked by the General Secretary Beatrice Ayikoru and Executive committee member Harriet Aya.
NFT Consult’s delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elizabeth Ntege.

“Uganda Olympic Committee is humbled to partner with NFT Consult, a private entity that specialized in human resource development. As sportsmen transition to active life, such opportunities will help them get the worthy placements for work” Dr Rukare stated.

“Human resource opportunities for people in the sports sector; active players, the retired and the people working in this docket will surely improve a great deal with the partnership of NFT Consult and Uganda Olympic Committee” Ayikoru, a former athlete and now General Secretary at UOC concurred.

For starters, NFT has been operational for the past two decades operating in 14 countries offering recruitment, manpower outsourcing, payroll, training, consulting and IT-enabled Human Resource solutions.
“We are very excited that NFT Consult is partnering with Uganda Olympic Committee for human resource development. We want to leverage on such a partnership and also identify potential funding partners” Ntege revealed.

In 21 years of existence, NFT Consult has duly served over 500 companies, with 150 plus annual job placements as they operate in now 14 countries.
According to Ntege, about 700,000 graduates are released to the job market per year which often overwhelms the field and leads to an overflow.

Therefore, helping sports related personnel to develop capacity in their own area of expertise will help a great deal.
“We want to inter-mingle passion that the sports people have with competence (skills) as we work towards attaining our vision of breaking the barriers for employment” Ntege added.
