  • Amus  0-0 MYDA (Amus qualifies 2-1 on aggregate)
  • Buwambo United 4-2 Black Stars (Buwambo United qualifies 5-3 on aggregate)
  • Pakwach Young Stars 2-0 Pajule Lions (Pakwach Young Stars qualifies 2-1 on aggregate)
  • Booma 0-0 Mutorele (Mutolere qualifies 1-0 on aggregate)

Amus Football Club qualified to the second highest division of Uganda’s football pyramid – The FUFA Big League.

This was after a 2-1 aggregate victory over MYDA Football Club from North East region on Saturday, 20th June 2026.

The return leg played at the Kongunga playground in Bukedea was goal-less between the two sides.

Since Amus has won the first leg 2-1 at the Amus college stadium last Saturday, the aggregate score favoured them.

Mudashiri Ijosiga and Davis Busuulwa scored for Amus College in the 29th and 41st minutes respectively in the first leg.

Jeremiah Otai got the consolation for MYDA.

Meanwhile; Buwambo United from Buganda region also qualified to The FUFA Big League at the expense of Black Stars (Kampala region).

Buwambo United qualified 5-3 on aggregate after the return leg in Buwambo ended in their favour 4-2.

The first leg played at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium in Kabowa was one-goal apiece.

Mutolere football club and Packwach Young Stars also completed the four promoted clubs to the FUFA Big League.

Kisoro based Mutolere ejected Booma 1-0 on aggregate after the return leg ended goal-less while Pakwach Young Stars edged Pajule Lions 2-0 to overturn 0-1 deficit from first leg.

The quartet will replace the promoted clubs to the Uganda Premier League for the upcoming season 2026/27; Blacks Power, Ntugasaze, Kataka and Kigezi Home Boyz.
