FIFA World Cup 2026 (Group H):

  • Spain 4-0 Saudi Arabia
  • Uruguay 1-1 Saudi Arabia
  • Spain 0-0 Cape Verde

Spain finally came to life at the on-going 2026 FIFA World Cup with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in Group H at the Atlanta stadium on Sunday afternoon.

It was at the same fortress that Spain faltered during the non-scoring stalemate last week.

Against Saudi Arabia, they were ruthless, clinical and aggressive right from the onset of play.

Mikel Oyarzabal Ugarte starred with a brace as Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana and Hassan Attambakti own goal sealed their feat.

Yamal became Spain’s second youngest player to score at the FIFA World Cup after Xavi.

Cape Verde will face Uruguay in their second game of the tournament on 22nd June 2026 at the Miami Stadium, Miami Gardens.

Final Group Games:

Group H final two matches will be played on 27th June 2026 at the same day and time.

Spain takes on Uruguay at Estadio Guadalajara Zapopan and Cabo Verde will face Saudi Arabia at the Houston stadium.
