Scenes after England's draw with Ghana at the Boston Stadium, Foxborough.

2026 FIFA World Cup (Group L):

  • England 0-0 Ghana
  • Panama 0-1 Croatia
  • Ghana 1-0 Panama
  • England 4-2 Croatia

Ghana held England to a scoreless draw in a Group L match at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup at the Boston Stadium, Foxborough, on Tuesday evening.

England dominated the game for long spells but failed to break the wall of the disciplined and resilient Ghana backline.

English skipper Harry Edward Kane watched on in disbelief as his stoppage time header razed off the crossbar.

Ghana goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was called upon to tame a goalkeeper shot from substitute Bukayo Saka in the 85th minute.

A point apiece from either side took them to four points apiece ahead of the final group games on 28th June 2026.

Jude Bellingham with the man of the match

Jude Bellingham (England) was named man of the match.

Meanwhile, Croatia earned their first victory at the competition, triumphing 1-0 over Panama at the Toronto stadium.

Super substitute Ante Budimir scored the all-important goal for Croatia in the 54th minute.

Budimir, who had been introduced at the start of the second half, finished off the goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera at the back post off a teasing delivery by roving right back Josip Stanisic.

Croatia’s legendary captain Luka Modric marked a historic 200 international caps mark.

Final Group L matches:

Panama will play England at the New York New Jersey stadium in East Rutherford on 28th June 2026.

At the same time and day, Ghana shall take on Croatia at the Philadelphia Stadium.
