Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC has confirmed the signing of Congolese defender, Jacques Mangoba.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official social media platforms today, Thursday, July 3, 2026.
“Welcome to Vipers SC, Jacques Mangoba. From Kisansha, DRC to St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende,” the statement partly reads.
The defender becomes the club’s second signing after the acquisition of Joel Sserunjogi who joined from UPL rivals, KCCA.
Mangoba reunites with Kevin Da Sylva Bady with whom they played at DRC side, AS Simba Kamikaze. He has also played for Sagrada Esperance in Angola and Congo’s AS Vita.
Vipers are the defending champions and are assembling a side ready to compete at the continent. They will also take part of CECAFA Kagame Club Championship, Uganda Premier League and the Uganda Cup.
