The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) has announced two major tournaments as the 2026 national competition calendar nears its climax.

The first one is Seroma open Table Tennis championship between 4th to 6th September 2026 at the Seroma Christian High School, Mukono.

The Seroma Open is an officially sanctioned Uganda Table Tennis Association Ranking Tournament and it shall serve as the 2026 Central Region Table Tennis Championship, an official UTTA Regional Mega Championship.

Ranking points shall be awarded in all eligible events in accordance with the Uganda Table Tennis Association Ranking Points System and shall count towards the official UTTA National Rankings.

This will be followed by the prestigious Uganda Open at the Nature Resort in Maya, Mpigi between 4th to 6th December 2026.

Both tournaments will be graced by clubs, schools, institutions and individual players.

The players will feature in the open singles, team event, under-19 singles, under-13 singles  and veterans singles.

The official prospectus containing entry procedures, registration fees and other regulations shall be released in due course.

Ranking points earned during the 2025 Uganda Open held at Kabojja shall expire on 7th December 2026 in accordance with the Uganda Table Tennis Association Ranking Points System.
