Uganda Premier League side KCCA is in advanced stages with defensive midfielder Yunus Sibira.

Kawowo Sports understands that the player has met with the team’s officials and they have reached an agreement to seal off a transfer deal.

After losing Joel Sserunjogi and Brain Jjara, the Kasasiro Boys have done fairly well to fill in the gap and Sibira provides a decent replacement.

Sibira is among the best defensive midfielders in the Uganda Premier League and reuniting with his former gaffer gives him a chance to get reasonable playing time.

In the 30 league games, Sibira managed to play 29, scoring two goals and providing one assist at Kitara FC. He was key in Kitara’s journey to lift the Uganda Cup.

He has previously featured for Kitara FC, Buhimba United Saints, Mbarara City and Gaddafi FC among others.

KCCA has already confirmed the signing of Charles Lwanga, Maxwell Owachgiu, and Elvis Ngonde.
