New URA FC signing Muhammad Kyeyune has declared his readiness to prove his worth on the pitch, describing his move to the Tax Collectors as a “dream come true.”
The highly-rated left-footed attacker spoke passionately about his ambitions shortly after finalizing his transfer to the four-time Uganda Premier League champions.
“I am very happy and grateful to join URA FC,” an enthusiastic Kyeyune stated. “It is a dream come true to be part of this great club, and I am ready to work hard, give my best every day and help the team achieve its goals. Whenever I am given an opportunity, I want to prove myself on the pitch and show what I can bring to the team.”
Kyeyune’s determination to make an immediate impact comes on the heels of a highly productive spell in the top flight.
The forward moves to URA FC from Entebbe UPPC FC, where he proved his efficiency by contributing two goals and three assists during the 2025/26 season.
His arrival adds significant pedigree and regional experience to the URA FC frontline.
Prior to his time with Entebbe, Kyeyune enjoyed a standout two-season tenure in Rwanda with Muhazi United between 2023 and 2025, where he was a major attacking threat, racking up nine goals and eight assists.
The attacker’s move to a domestic powerhouse like URA FC marks the latest milestone in a career defined by steady progression.
Developed at the KCCA Soccer Academy, Kyeyune has continuously sharpened his skills with impactful stints at Maroons FC and Soltilo Bright Stars, before his successful ventures at Muhazi United and Entebbe UPPC.
With his hunger to perform and a proven track record of creating and scoring goals, Kyeyune’s focus is now firmly set on turning his dream move into silverware for the Tax Collectors.
