Argentina takes on England in the explosive semi-final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The fixture was confirmed after the completion of the last two quarter finals.
England came from a goal down to out-muscle Norway 2-1 in Miami.
Jude Bellingham scored a brace to cancel out Andreas Schjelderup’s opener.
Argentina won in extra-time 3-1 over a 10-man Switzerland at the Kansas city stadium.
Alexis Mac Allister, Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez were on target for the South Americans.
Dan Ndoye got the goal for Switzerland who finished the game with 10-men after a red card to Breel Donald Embolo in the 2nd minute.
Semi-finals:
Spain will face France in the semi-final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday, 14th July 2026 at the Dallas Stadium, Arlington.
Argentina shall then take on England in the second semi-final at the Atlanta stadium on Wednesday, 15th July 2026.
