Ceaser Lobi Manzoki admits that some of the happiest moments in his football career happened at Vipers.
The Congolese revealed this after he agreed to rejoin the club ahead of the highly anticipated 2026/27 season.
Nicknamed the Congolese ‘Magnifico’, Manzoki scored 26 goals and 13 assists across two seasons with the 2021/22 being the most prolific in which he won all individual accolades.
“It’s amazing to be back to a place I call home. Joining Vipers SC is something I think someone is lucky enough to experience once in a lifetime, but for me it is happening twice. That makes it even more special because I enjoyed fantastic years here,” he told the club website.
“I always believed this was the most special experience of my career. Coming back now, I can still feel the same passion, the same love and the same family atmosphere.
“I have a personal bond with the players, the supporters and everyone connected to the club. Some of my happiest memories in football were created here.
“Uganda, Kitende and Vipers will always have a special place in my heart. I’m excited to be back and I can’t wait to give everything for this badge once again.”
Manzoki’s signing is statement of intent as the Venoms aim to progress to the Caf Champions League group stages for only the second time in history.
They also have the onus to do well in the domestic league, Uganda Cup, Fufa Super 8 and the Cecafa Kagame Cup.
He is the club’s fourth addition after Joel Sserunjogi, Nicholas Mwere, Jacques Mangoba and Gabon goalkeeper Loyce Marius Mbaba.
The club has also let go of several players including Livingstone Mulondo, Nicholas Wadada, Frank Katongole, Grant Matsiko, Bashir Sekagya and Alfred Mudekereza.
