Uganda Premier League side Express have reached an agreement to appoint Morley Byekwaso as the new head coach.
According to Tola Sport, the deal advanced over the last week, and now the announcement will be made in the coming days.
Byekwaso is expected to fill the void created by the departure of Jimmy Kintu, who joined URA FC after showcasing his knowledge with the Red Eagles.
If the deal materialises, Byekwaso will return from the sabbatical that has stretched since leaving the Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa in 2025.
Byekwaso was also at the helm of Uganda Cranes as they finished in the quarterfinals of the previous CHAN tournament in his last assignment in the dugout.
