Official launch of cycling to inspire future generations at Sheehan School

Overview:

This programme will run in schools, identify, develop and expose talents,  provide students with engaging activities that will complement classroom learning while inspiring confidence, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to education and healthy living.

The Cycling for Hope Initiatives with Rotary (RC Konge Lukuli), working in partnership with the National Private Education Institution Association (NPEIA), launched an initiative that will use cycling and orienteering to support education and empower young people with the skills they need to succeed in both school and life.

Cycling for Hope, Rotary and NPEIA will work closely with schools and communities to encourage regular school attendance, strengthen physical and mental well-being, and develop leadership, teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship.

By combining sport with education, the initiative will create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and become responsible future leaders.

We lose talents after primary level of education, we are working hard to tap into this potential. Education is a big foundation of every child’s future. Through Sports we will inspire young people to stay in school, participate in sports, develop essential life skills, and open opportunities with emphasis that sports is “BUSINESS”.
